Immigration and work permits

For a non-EU person to work in Spain, a residence and work authorisation is required. The route and requirements depend on the role, the sector and the state of the labour market.

The entry routes

There are individual routes and routes designed for collective or seasonal needs. Choosing the right route shapes the requirements, the paperwork and the timelines — this is where the immigration firm's judgement matters.

Usual documentation

The case file gathers the worker's identity, the offer or contract, and evidence of the role's requirements. An orderly, complete file is what prevents delays.

Timelines rule

Processing times vary and don't depend on the company alone. That is why the calendar is planned backwards from the onboarding date.
