Recruitment at origin and circular migration
Recruiting at origin means selecting and formalising a worker's onboarding in their own country before they travel to Spain. It is the orderly route to fill operational roles when there aren't enough workers in the local market.
How it works
The process starts in the country of origin: profile and volume are defined, candidates are selected, the offer is formalised and immigration paperwork is processed. Only when everything is in order does the worker travel and start work.
What circular migration is
A model of temporary, orderly mobility: the worker joins for a campaign or project within a defined framework of stay and return. It gives the company predictability and the worker guarantees.
Who does what
Recruitment at origin is handled by a specialised agency; immigration by a firm; and OGR coordinates the three parties so the company has a single point of contact.
Informational content, not legal advice. The regulatory framework may change; the immigration firm handles each specific case.
